What is your religion?
First and foremost, I am not part of any religion. They were all created by man.
I used to be a part of Christianity until I learned the TRUTH of who I am: an Israelite woman.
So instead of following Christianity’s warped and wrong way of interpreting the Bible, I am obedient to the Word of God as it is written.
Get Out Of Christianity!
Christianity erroneously teaches that you do not have to keep God’s Commandments and Laws. And that Jesus’ death eliminated God’s requirement that we obey His Word.
WHET?!?!? But Jesus didn’t say that…
Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I am come not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matthew 5:17 | 1611 KJVa
So when Jesus said that He came to fulfill the Law, which Law was He talking about? Was it every single Law that Moses taught the children of Israel? Did His death eliminate our need to follow moral, dietary, and civil Laws? NO!
Jesus did not come to abolish the entire Law, but to fulfill a specific Law: THE LAW OF SACRIFICE.
Don’t get it twisted…you can’t just claim that “the bloooood of Jesus coversssss all my sins” and not keep God’s commandments. It just doesn’t work that way.
These Christian pastors love to focus their sermons on the New Testament as if the other two-thirds of the Bible are insignificant. They cherry-pick ill-interpreted scriptures from the New Testament to “prove” their heretic doctrine that we are not required to keep the Commandments.
They are wrong. They are liars. And according to the Word, the truth is not in them.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 2:4 | 1611 KJVa
I Keep God’s Commandments!
Why? Because He said so. Period. 💁🏽♀️
As a repenting Israelite woman, keeping God’s commandments is my only focus. I filter everything I say and do through His commandments. And if it doesn’t line up with the commandments, I am not interested!
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 | 1611 kjva
A common rebuttal that I hear against keeping the commandments is that it’s impossible to do. Some people claim that keeping all of God’s 600+ commandments is not realistic.
I have an issue with that line of thinking. 🙄
So instead of striving to keep the commandments, you just succumb to the wicked ways of society, put in minimal effort during your spiritual journey, and settle on living a life contrary to the Bible?
So you can follow the laws of the land and you can adhere to the rules at work? But you can’t obey God’s Word?!?! Sis, that don’t even make sense. 😒
I don’t know about you, but I want to make it into the kingdom. After I die and go before The Most High, I want Him to say “job well done.” And the only way to live eternally and enter God’s kingdom is by keeping/doing His commandments!
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14 | 1611 KJVa
But Didn’t You Grow Up in the Church?
Yes I did 🤣
Just like most of us Black folk, I grew up in a Christian household. We didn’t attend church every Sunday, but we were there at least twice a month.
We wore our Sunday’s best for Easter, my mom volunteered for the Audio Ministry, both my parents were active in the Marriage Ministry, I attended Sunday School with kids my age, and the pastor knew my family on a first-name basis.
Mommy was a God-fearing woman. She studied her Bible often, thoughtfully named me after a queen in the Book of Esther, and raised me and my brother with the Word of God.
But something was missing in my personal understanding of the Bible.
Me and Mommy at church. Circa 1992.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
Fun facts: Today, I’m using Mommy’s Bible cover in this picture.
Also, Dad loved that blue Cadillac. 🚙
During church services, I would ask myself questions in our pew and receive no answer from the pulpit:
- Who am I according to the Bible?
- Are Black people in the Bible?
- Why were Black Christians “grafted in” in the New Testament? Did we not exist during the Old Testament?
- If God is all about love, why do Black people suffer more than anybody else?
- Does God hate Black people?
- Why did God allow Black people to go into slavery?
- Why would a white Jesus save a little Black girl and her Black family?
My questions weren’t addressed in church. As a matter of fact, the church created more confusion and offered no clarity. Everything seemed centered around a feel-good sermon, the prosperity gospel, church theatrics, or grace replacing the Law.
Nothing provided explanations or solutions about the Black struggle. Christianity avoided the issues that plagued the Black community the most and that never made sense to me.
Poverty, Black-on-Black crime, oppression, and racism weren’t topics that were ever addressed in church.
Unbeknownst to them, my parents taught me (and my brother) the same white supremacist ideals of Christianity that they were brainwashed into believing from the church. As a family, we were bamboozled into believing the crooked lies of Christianity.
Thankfully, my litany of questions were answered when God called and awakened me to the TRUTH that I am His chosen; that I am an Israelite.
As Israelite women, our Heavenly Father gave us the commandments to keep. But because we were disobedient, He cursed us. Now that we are waking up to who we are according to the Bible, it is our responsibility to keep God’s commandments to get out of our present captivity.
Why is your head always covered?
Black women from older generations were known for wearing big hats and fancy fascinators to church. They’d be decked out in their Sunday’s best, modestly dressed, head covered, and Bible in hand. But why?
My theory is that deep down in their spirit, they knew they were Israelites and that God expected them to have their head covered when they attended church.
In the New Testament, the Word commands us to have our heads covered when we pray or prophesy.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered, dishonoreth her head…
1 corinthians 11:5 | 1611 kjva
So why don’t you ever see these Christian prophetesses with their heads covered? When did we get away from wearing church hats and fancy fascinators?
On one hand, it’s because they value “independence” and feminism more than they respect God’s holy order. And on the other hand, they don’t know what they don’t know…which used to be me.
The purpose of women covering their heads is not a fashion statement; rather it is about ORDER. As women, our head is the man; his head is Christ, and Christ’s head is God. 🗣 #InThatOrder
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ: and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.
1 Corinthians 11:3 | 1611 KJVA
As Black women, we should love and respect our Black men, our Black kings, enough to fall back and let them lead without trying to usurp their authority.
I know that is a hard pill to swallow, but it’s the TRUTH.
Covering our heads is a reminder of God’s order.
Some women like to argue against God’s Word and justify their actions through their vain opinions (Ecclesiasticus/Sirach 3:24), but I ain’t one of them.
If God said it, I’m doing it!
We must also address what it means to prophesy.
If you peruse the YouTube, there are numerous Black women releasing a “prophetic word” for their online audiences. I used to watch these videos daily when I was in Christianity because they had a message that “confirmed” what I was feeling and kept hope alive when I was brought to a low estate (Ecclestiasticus/Sirach 2:4).
But now as I am in the TRUTH, their error is blatantly apparent and vexes my spirit.
“Speaking into the future” and trying to manifest (*cough* manipulate *cough*) the Bible to get what you want is NOT prophesying.
It’s giving fortune-teller 🔮 and not Prophetess.
God’s Word defines prophesy as the testimony of Jesus.
…fot the testimony of Jesus, is the spirit of prophesy.
Revelation 19:10 | 1611 KJVA
✊🏿 I am a revolutionary woman who understands the assignment that is before me.
As I continue to meditate on the Scriptures and gird myself up in Biblical wisdom, I must always be ready to preach the gospel of Jesus — our BLACK MESSIAH — to other Black women (2 Timothy 4:2).
With such a responsibility, I keep my head covered so I’m always on my square when I need to pray or prophesy in my daily interactions with God’s princesses. 👸🏽
Can we also admit that our headwraps are fabulous? And that our crowns are royal? 👑
We are God’s CHOSEN princesses and we must look the part.
Do you have fun anymore?
One of my favorite cousins pulled up on me so that we could visit our great aunt. I came out of the house in my pink robe and leopard print bonnet to let her know that I was almost ready 🤣 We only chatted for a little bit, but she said something that pierced my soul:
Wow! You’re so different now!
She didn’t even know, but this was one of the best compliments I’ve ever received. This past year of renewing my mind, following the Commandments, and studying the Word has truly changed who I am.
🗣OLD VASHTI IS DEAD 💀
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are past away, behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 | 1611 KJV w/ apocrypha
One of the things I was known for in the world was my ability to have fun anywhere and bring fun everywhere 💃🏾 #FunGirl 💃🏾
Everybody would call me to find out what was poppin’ in the city, where the party was, and the location of the after spot. I was the friend and cousin that everyone wanted to hang with because I was always twerking, drinking, smoking, and partying. Old Vashti was a whole (worldly) vibe.
Forget being the life of the party… I was THEE party!
So when I was called into the TRUTH of who I am according to the Bible, I had to change my ways…ALL OF THEM!
No longer could I parlay in these streets being loud, dancing sensually, and drinking excessively. All of my partying came to an abrupt end.
I don’t share these photos to praise who I was; instead, they serve as proof that the Word of God has transformed me into who I should’ve always been. The old me is in stark contrast and a complete stranger to who I am today.
Before understanding the TRUTH, I was an unrighteous fornicating covetous drunk woman (gotta keep it 💯) who was not making it into the kingdom of heaven. I was deceived into thinking that my being “a good person” was sufficient for God…when in fact…it NEVER WAS!
9) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (10) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 | 1611 kjva
After updating my very good friend Cassandra on where I am in my spiritual journey, she made a comment that has stuck with me ever since. She was like, “Friend, it sounds so strict. Are you able to have fun anymore?”
Laden with surprise, I explained that “fun” isn’t my goal; instead, I’m focused on working out my salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12) as I endure in our present captivity (Ezekiel 39:23).
I taught her that keeping God’s Commandments isn’t burdensome. In fact, it’s an honor because I understand that the Bible is God’s Law given to Black (Hispanic and Native American) people and it’s a record of our history.
The people in the Bible are our ancestors and we are from their bloodline.
The Bible is for us and by us.
❤️ Me and Cassandra at her wedding ❤️
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.” — 1 John 5:3
Chiiiiiiile…I was still figuring out how to dress modestly 😩 Even though this dress has fringes and a border of blue (Numbers 15:38), it has been retired. The neckline is too low and the length is too short. ❌
I’ve had too much worldly fun in my life that drew me further and further away from The Father.
God was NOT in the things I was doing as the party girl that everyone loved to kick it with.
And now I must atone for my sins.
But don’t get it twisted…I still love to have a good time! I still love to dance (just not twerk). I still enjoy listening to rap music (just not the ratchetness). And I still love a good party (just not in these streets).
Instead of partying at clubs and smoking cigars at lounges, I congregate with other commandment-keeping Israelites during God’s Holy Feast Days.
I’ve partied at Passover, given presents on Purim, turnt up at Feast of Tabernacles, and love a good two-step after Sabbath class. I don’t have FOMO (fear of missing out) and I don’t desire to be the party girl I used to be.
So yes…I still have fun 💃🏾💃🏾 It’s just not any of the wicked stuff I subscribed to as the old me. And my prayer is that my testimony will impact you to do the same ❤️

Are you going to change your name?
Absolutely! I plan on changing my first and last name.
Now that I am in the truth, I have learned that Queen Vashti was (1) not an Israelite and (2) was rebellious.
There have been several occasions where Israelite sisters looked at me with a major side-eye and asked, “ewww why did you choose that name?”
First of all, Vashti is my birth name. And I am not ashamed of it. As a Christian woman who raised me using the Word of God, my Mommy knew the importance of giving me a Biblical name.
She had the purest of intentions. Just like the rest of us Black folk, the Christian church didn’t teach her that we are the Israelites.
It is now my responsibility and honor to replace my name with one that best suits me as a repenting Israelite woman.
Of course, I contemplated renaming myself Esther or Hadassah as a “full-circle” moment: from a rebellious woman that was dethroned to an obedient queen who was instrumental in saving Israel during our Persian captivity (The rest of the Chapters of the Book of Esther 10:9).
Although I love this piece of our history, I have decided to wait until my future husband chooses my name. As my desire shall be his, I want my name to reflect the type of wife he shall rule over (Genesis 3:16).
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception. In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children: and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
genesis 3:16 | 1611 kjva
Lord’s will, I’ll be blessed to marry a revolutionary man who understands our God-given purpose in this TRUTH and for me to be on one accord with him (Acts 1:14).
I will also be changing my last name from Buck to Israel. And it shall be sooner, rather than later.
One shall say, I am the LORD’S: and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob: and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
isaiah 44:5 | 1611 kjva
Why are you always talking about the Bible?
Because I mean…what else are we talking about!?!?
Unless you’re living under a rock, we are all experiencing and witnessing Biblical prophecy unfold before our very eyes.
Wars are happening all over the globe, Black-on-Black violence is skyrocketing, the housing market has become unaffordable, food shortages have families struggling to eat, white folks are slaying Black people in the streets without punishment, and Biblical abominations have become the societal norm.
It seems as though there is no reprieve from the evil realities of what’s happening in our world. After decades of marches and rallies, our community is in a worse condition than we were during Jim Crow.
We’re still having the same circular conversations about race that our parents and grandparents had… and they have all turned out to be pointless.
You’d think that with the influx of information and social media we would’ve been able to make some headway in our pursuit of “equality” and justice. (There is no such thing as equality. More on that later.)
But alas here we are…still at the bottom of the proverbial totem pole.
All of our politicking and social activism ain’t working today and quite frankly…never has worked.
But you wanna know what will give us peace and hope? THE BIBLE!
The Bible has an explanation and answer for everything that plagues our Black community. Why? Because it’s our history book.
We just have to WAKE UP to who The Most High God says we are (and abandon the lies of our white oppressors).
Once we WAKE UP to our true history and heritage, this world will make a lot more sense. F+*& what the white man says about you. Pick up the Bible and read what GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU:
- Your Messiah [Jesus / Yahawashi] is a 🖤 Black Man 🖤
- Revelation 1: 14-15
- Israelites (Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans) are chosenABOVE every other race/nation
- Deuteronomy 7:6
- Christ only came to save the ISRAELITES…not the other races/nations
- Matthew 15:24
- GOD is a 🖤 Black Man 🖤
- Daniel 7:9 + Daniel 10: 5-6
- Job was a 🖤 Black Man 🖤
- Job 30:30
- Solomon, the richest and wisest person to walk this earth, was a 🖤 Black Man 🖤
- Song of Solomon 1:5
- The white “Jewish” people in the land of Israel right now are the Synagogue of Satan
- Revelation 2:9
- The kingdom of heaven is only for the 12 tribes of Israel…and no one else
- Revelation 21:12
- Slavery via cargo ships is in the Bible
So where’s the answer? What is the solution? How do we endure? What do we have to look forward to?
Again, all of the answers are in the Bible!
Yes, the same Bible that white people used to enslave and oppress our people; is the same Bible that has the answer about who we truly are.
Once we learn who we are as thus saith the Lord, the Bible hits differently.
It’s no longer a book of stories and parables about white people or “brown Middle Easterners” that we have to squeeze applicable meaning out of in an attempt to fit it into our Black modern lives.
Instead, the Bible becomes a library of our history before we were brought over to America on slave ships. You realize that we come from the same bloodline as Jesus Christ. That alone is mind-blowing! 🤯
Our actual and factual forefathers are Jesus Christ, King Solomon, King David, Apostle Paul, John the Revelator, etc.
And our foremothers are Queen Esther, Judge Deborah, Prophetess Miriam, Midwife Shiphrah, and Judith the True Secret Service! This is such a heavy and beautiful realization that still moves me to happy tears 🥲 as I type.
We need to tap in because everything in the Bible was written for our learning today.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
romans 15:4 | 1611 kjva
Once we get into God’s Word and learn that we are God’s chosen people, then we will take the Bible more seriously.
The epiphany of our true heritage — not as Blacks, African-Americans, or Negroes — but as Israelites requires us to uphold the highest standards of God’s Word. You can’t sit on this information and not be transformed.
In my transformation, I had to unlearn and relearn everything I was ever taught.
The Christian church and our Negro schools are funded by white folk who have a vested interest in erasing our true history. And keeping us in sin because that separates us from our God.
Our oppressors did everything they could to destroy us, but God’s Word reigns supreme.
From the beginning He chose Israel and He ain’t never changed His mind about that.
For I am the LORD, I change not: therefore ye sons of Jacob (12 sons of Jacob = 12 tribes of Israel) are not consumed.
Malachi 3:6 | 1611 kjva | *WITH EXPLANTATION*
The key to enduring our present captivity and making it into the kingdom is to KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS 🗣
That’s it.
